Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, city, state and ZIP code.
  • Candidate information: your resume and anything it contains (work history, education, licenses and certifications), the role you are applying for, and any message you send.
  • Practice information: your practice name, the roles you are hiring for, and details of your consulting or hiring needs.
  • Communications: emails, calls and messages you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical and security data: your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, used to deliver the Site, prevent spam and abuse, and keep it secure.
  • Bot protection: the Site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. It may process browser and device signals for that purpose only.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell access to your browsing activity. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or health information through the Site; please do not include it in your resume or messages.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide recruiting, placement and consulting services.
  • To match candidates with open roles and present qualified candidates to hiring practices.
  • To keep records of searches, applications and placements.
  • To contact you about opportunities or services related to your inquiry.
  • To protect the Site and our users, including detecting spam, fraud and malicious files.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • With hiring practices, with your permission: we present a candidate’s information to a practice only for a role the candidate has agreed to be considered for. If you ask for a confidential search, we will not share your name or resume until you say so.
  • In our anonymous talent pool, only if you opt in: if you choose to join our practice talent pool, subscribing practices may see an anonymous profile showing your role, licenses and certifications, years of experience, general metro area, availability, desired schedule, desired pay range, practice software, skills and a short summary we write. It never includes your name, contact details, resume or employers, and we introduce you to a practice only after you agree. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.
  • With service providers who help us run our business and must protect your information, including our recruiting database (Recruit CRM), website hosting and security (Cloudflare), and our email and phone providers.
  • Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card or bank account numbers.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or The Dental Recruiters.
  • In a business transfer: if our business is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner under this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate and practice records for as long as they are useful for current and future searches, and as needed to meet legal, accounting and record-keeping requirements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our recruiting database, spam and bot filtering, and checks on uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • Access and correction: ask what information we hold about you and have it corrected.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Communications: tell us at any time to stop contacting you about opportunities or services.

To make a request, email contact us or call (636) 245-4567. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

The Site and our services are intended for adults seeking or offering employment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
